  • Key Features and Construction

    • Structure: They are constructed using galvanized steel tubing (typically 12-gauge or 14-gauge) for the frame. This tubular structure provides a strong, rigid skeleton.

    • Roofing: The roof is covered with corrugated or standing seam sheet metal, which is attached to the frame using self-tapping screws. This metal skin offers excellent protection against rain, snow, hail, and UV rays.

    • Anchoring: These buildings must be properly anchored to the ground. Common anchoring methods include rebar or auger anchors for dirt/gravel and concrete wedge anchors for concrete slabs.

  • Three Main Roof Styles

    Style Name Description Best For
    1. Regular Style Rounded eaves that follow the bend of the frame. The most economical option. Mild climates, basic vehicle protection.
    2. Boxed Eave Style Has a traditional A-frame roofline with an overhang, giving it a residential look. Areas with moderate wind and snow, aesthetic appeal.
    3. Vertical Style Similar A-frame as Boxed Eave, but the roof sheeting runs vertically (from ridge to eave). Heavy snow/rain regions. The vertical sheeting allows snow and water to easily slide off.
  • Why Choose Tubular Metal Buildings

Longevity: Galvanized steel resists rust and pests, ensuring a lifespan of decades with minimal maintenance.

Customization: They can be customized in terms of width, length, height, and color, and can often be partially or fully enclosed later to become a garage or shed.

Quick Installation: Most standard tubular carports can be installed in a matter of hours or a single day
